Just a little bit about myself.
I was born and raised in Hong Kong until I was twelve, then moved to Melbourne, Australia to complete high school. As much as I miss it, I have now returned to Hong Kong to complete my university studies and as part of my program, I have opted to go on an exchange semester in a little town called Ostrich Winkel in Germany this year. So I thought this would be the perfect time to kickstart this blog, sharing my journey in finding a balance between travelling adventures, food, reaching all new fitness goals but most importantly, I want to take you along on this journey away from the pressure of peers or a fast paced society like Hong Kong to consolidate personal growth at my own pace and in my own space. |
As a child growing up, I have always been a swimmer, training religiously every morning before school started during my high school years, which also explains my love for fitness/sports up till this day and age, be it golfing, horse riding, doing yoga etc. Besides, my sporty side, I also love other joys that life has to offer, which I think is best enjoyed when travelling, since this is usually a time to put work or stress aside and enjoy the present. So here in REWIND, you will also find many posts about my past trips.
Although these hobbies are no different nor special to many other bloggers out there but here, I would like to share with you not only my happy moments and bring you joy but I also want to focus on the art of balance that I, till today, am still striving to achieve. I believe that sometimes it is easy for us to be sitting on either end of the spectrum or work hard for perfectionism, it’s just part of human nature. But there’s a Chinese saying that I strongly agree with and it translates to “Our fingers aren’t equal in length” meaning that people too, have their long/short comings and one/nothing is perfect.
So if you would like to read more about my balance within fitness, health, life ..... then please stay tuned for more posts
Takeaway: Between goals, there's something called life that we should appreciate and live
